Our Courses
B.A. (Computer Science)
A B.A. in Computer Science is a 3 to 4-year undergraduate degree that blends core computer science with a broader liberal arts education.
What you study
– Core CS: Programming (Java, Python), data structures, algorithms, software engineering, computer systems, and databases.
– Math/Theory: Discrete math, calculus, probability, and logic.
– Flexibility: Compared to a B.S., the B.A. usually requires fewer advanced math/science credits and leaves room for courses outside CS—like business, design, linguistics.
Key skills you gain
Technical skills in problem analysis, programming, and system design, plus soft skills like communication, collaboration, and time management.
B.Com (Hons.)
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)
It’s a 3-year undergrad degree focused deeper on commerce, finance, and accounting than a regular B.Com. More rigorous, with heavier emphasis on core subjects.
*What you study:*
– Core: Financial accounting, cost & management accounting, corporate accounting
– Finance & tax: Corporate finance, financial management, direct & indirect taxation, auditing
– Business: Business law, company law, economics, business statistics, business maths
– Less electives than general B.Com – you go deeper into fewer subjects
*Goal:* Build a strong foundation for careers in finance, accounting, banking, and business analytics. It’s considered the standard route if you want to pursue CA, CMA, CS, ACCA, CFA later.
*After graduation:*
Jobs in accounting, auditing, tax, banking, financial analysis, consulting. Most students go for CA, MBA, M.Com, or professional certs right after.
*Good fit if:* You like numbers, finance, and business law, and want a degree that gives you more weight for professional courses and finance roles than a plain B.Com.
B.Sc. (IT)
B.Sc. (IT) = Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
It’s a 3-year undergrad degree focused on the practical side of computing and IT systems, not as theoretical as B.Sc. Computer Science.
What you study:
– Programming: C, C++, Java, Python, basics of web dev
– Databases: SQL, DBMS concepts
– Networking, operating systems, cybersecurity fundamentals
– Software engineering, web technologies, mobile app dev
– Data structures, algorithms, cloud basics
Goal: Train you to build, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure and software solutions for businesses.
After graduation:
Jobs in software development, web development, IT support, network admin, database admin, QA testing, cybersecurity analyst. Many also go for MCA, M.Sc. IT, or MBA-IT.
PGDCA
*PGDCA* stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications.
It’s a 1-year postgraduate diploma course focused on practical computer skills and software applications.
*What it covers:*
– Programming fundamentals: C, C++, Java, Python
– Database management: SQL, DBMS concepts
– Software engineering, web development, networking basics
– Office automation, operating systems, data structures
*Who it’s for:*
Graduates from any stream who want quick, job-oriented training in IT/computers without doing a full MCA. Common after BA, BCom, BSc degrees.
*Duration & level:*
1 year, full-time or part-time. Equivalent to 1st year of MCA in many Indian universities.
*Career path:*
Leads to roles like data entry operator, web developer, junior programmer, computer operator, IT support. Many use it as a stepping stone for govt jobs requiring computer knowledge.
